WHAT WE BELIEVE

Doctrine, Ordinances & Rites

  • We Believe: Scripture teaches there is one and only one true and living God, who is self-existent, and the eternal “I AM,” the creator of heaven and earth, and the redeemer of mankind.

We Believe: He has chosen to reveal Himself as Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy spirit, the same in essence, though distinct in personality. These three are one God, having the same nature, attributes, perfection, and are worthy of the same homage and obedience.

We Believe: The mode of His existence, however, is a subject far above the understanding of man. He is the fountain of love and perfection. He is glorified by the whole of creation and is worthy to be loved and served by all intelligence. He, therefore, is the only proper object of worship.

  • Our Mantra: I believe the bible is the immutable and infallible word of God, and it is a lamp unto my feet and light unto my path. I believe the Word of God applied to my life, will launch me into my purpose, unlock heaven on earth, and cause me to be a blessing to mankind.

  • Also known as the Lord’s Supper; is a memorial, rite, or expression of the covenant made with God through the blood of Jesus Christ.

Communion is a reminder of how much Jesus loves us, what He did to show that love, and how much He desires ongoing intimacy with us (Matthew 26:26-28).

Communion is a time of introspection (examining). We should examine ourselves to remove anything that might hinder the intimacy we have with Jesus and express our love and gratitude for Him freeing us from sin’s sentence of death.

  • A visible sign of a heart’s desire to obey and be in relationship with Jesus Christ.

A public declaration that a person has identified with Jesus and is now “under new management.” This requires laying down our old life for a new life in Jesus Christ.
